Barton Protective Services Inc. Expands Relationship With Alliance

Mobile, Alabama - August 1, 2003 – Barton Protective Services, the fifth largest security firm in the United States, has expanded the role of Alliance Communications Management for telecommunications management support. While Alliance has been providing Barton with outsourcing and project management services since July 2002, Barton recently expanded Alliance’s role to include the provision of its Unify Billing and Consulting services.

“Alliance has been instrumental in helping us significantly change our telecommunications and technology infrastructure over the past year,” said David Brazeal, Barton’s chief financial officer. “We believe the Unify Billing Service allows us to more fully leverage Alliance’s services. We look forward to gaining greater cost control over our voice and data services while freeing more internal resources for other initiatives.” “Alliance’s Unify Billing Service provides a turn-key solution to audit, consolidate and allocate telecommunications costs across a variety of services, providers, and locations.”

“Alliance has proven its value from an administrative standpoint over the past year,” said Tracy Fuller, director of administrative services for Barton. “Adding the Unify Billing Service enables us to reduce the administrative and management burden associated with telecommunications.”

Additionally, Alliance will be providing consulting and project management support to Barton in three key areas including IT strategy, Leaning Management Systems deployment, and Wireless Deployment. “Alliance has quickly become an important part of our Information Systems Department,” said Jamie Kranking, Barton’s vice president of information services. “Alliance brings strong content and process skills to help us deploy technology enabled initiatives into our operations.”

“We are delighted that Barton has entrusted us with an expanded role within their organization,” said Robert R. Hunter, president and CEO of Alliance Communications Management. “This partnership has been positive for both companies and we look forward to expanding our role in a company as highly respected as Barton,” Hunter added.

Since July 2002, Alliance has provided TeleManagement services, a single point-of-contact approach to manage services across multiple sites and carriers while ensuring integration, responsiveness, and cost control. In addition, Alliance has provided Barton consulting and project management services on a number of initiatives including the development and deployment of a wide area network infrastructure to 39 Barton office locations in the United States.

Alliance Communications Management is the industry leader in outsourced telecommunications management supporting clients with sites across the country. Alliance offers a suite of management services that includes network design, carrier selection and management, issue resolution, bill auditing and consolidation, and consulting services for both voice and data services.
